Private Practice Exhibition 2013
This work is part of the installation "Private Practice". This exhibition was on display at Arthur Roger Gallery, in New Orleans, LA, March-April of 2013.
Private Practice embodies the issues and elements that remain constant in my work: an exploration of mental and physical health, themes of healing, comfort and self-preservation. The large-scale, padded white vinyl pieces in this exhibition allude to various emotional states. They are an invitation to lure the viewer into their own state of self-awareness. Other multi-media pieces deal with moving through and overcoming painful experiences as both children and adults.
